I am selling a cherished black Mercedes SLK 230, with 62000 miles on the clock.

I bought the car new from Evans Halshaw in Leicester in late 1999 and used it for a short while for running up and down to London on business. It never let me down once. My wife liked it so much that rather than let me sell it, she 'convinced' me that I should donate it to her. That's the story of the two registered owners on the log book.

It has air conditioning, automatic gearbox, two tone leather seats, c.d/radio, airbags in the normal places, electric windows etc. Owned by non smokers, cigarette lighter never used. It has done about 2000 miles in the last two years and I don't feel it gets used enough. It is maintained as part of a collection of sports Mercedes by a trusted motor engineer who has rebuilt many of my cars. Naturally, all bills and receipts are available to back this up. It has been serviced thoroughly in the last 500 miles including a few new tyres.

The roof pops first time, every time, there are no scuttles and shakes and it drives as a Mercedes should. It is clean and well maintained.
