Morris Minor 1000 for sale
Year: 1968 - Mileage: 36800 Location: Ludlow Shropshire, UK
Price: 1800 GBP

I will try to give as full and honest description of its current condition below but, please come and have a look for yourself if you can. The car is located at Ludlow in Shropshire.
The car is currently taxed, MOT and ready to drive away. Two door saloon.
Bodywork:
I have found no rot anywhere on the bodywork, and no filler either. The doors are excellent and all the panels are sound. I don’t think there are any dents either. The only marks are a few touched in spots, that are to be expected. The paint finish is beautiful and the dark blue colour is superb. There are a few bubbles but nothing serious. The door shuts and inside the boot is sound and clean. All four wings are steel. The engine compartment is sound but would benefit from a good clean. In my opinion the underside of the car needs no work at all, it looks totally original and untouched although I suspect that it has had some work at some stage, expertly done, and hardly any mileage has been covered since the last MOT. The tyres have plenty of mileage to go and the exhaust is solid. The engine starts instantly and has been converted for unleaded petrol. The interior is very clean and presentable. The clock reading states 36000+ miles. The brakes work positively. Overall a very nice "moggy" but faults can always be found (even on brand new cars) especially on a forty year old car. TAX EXEMPT. The chrome work on the bumpers (blades) is peeling and the new owner should be prepared to rechrome or buy new units to really finish the car off. This would be a very easy restoration project if the new owner is so inclined.
Summary:
This is a really pleasant, fun car to drive. It is very sensible for everyday use and will undoubtedly be a good investment for the future, if looked after. I am sure the new owner will be proud. However, all the above is my opinion only and, of course, I am biased, so please make time to view if you can. It is a lovely car and desperately needs a caring new owner to accompany him through the next 40 years.
