Transmission
Borg Warner World class T5 5 speed transmission. New clutch with less than 2,000 miles on it. New rear seal, mileage on trans is original to car so about 38,000.

Rear
Just completely rebuilt, less than 500 miles. Alloy heat-treated 28 spline axles $209. New Auburn 3 series posi unit $402. New bearings $110. 3:73 gears $100. New wheel seals and axle bearings. Custom boxed lower control arms.

Body
1989 Firebird Formula, 38,000 original miles, WS6 performance suspension, absolutely no rust anywhere on car. New MOOG inner and outer tie rods $80, New Idler arm $40, New front struts, New rear shocks, New front calipers, New drilled and slotted rotors and hawk performance brake pads, Russell brake lines $108. New front wheel bearings, New rear wheel cylinders, New rear brake shoes, and hardware. Nice 16” Chrome wheels off of a 2000 trans am $400 with bolt on wheel spacers to make them fit $120. Brand new Khumo 711 245/50/r16 tires, about 400 miles on fronts and about 300 miles on the rears. The car is relatively straight, a few dings here and there to be expected with an 18-year-old car. Front drivers side fender has a dent on the front corner. Brand new windshield $175, all body work was done around windshield before install so there is primer around the window channel. New hood and hatch struts $78. The car needs paint; the clear coat is peeling in places. With paint this car would be ready for show.

Interior
The interior is on very good condition, no rips or tears on seats, no cracks in dash, carpet is ok, could use a cleaning. All gauges and lights all work. There is no headliner in the car, about $150 for a new one. Power windows and locks work great. Newer Pioneer flip face CD player. Tilt column is nice and tight as a 38,000-mile car should be.

All in all this is a very nice, fast, and reliable car, most everything on the car is new and I have kept all the receipts so yes there are allot of them. This car is very quick, it will chirp the tires in third gear. I did race the car at the track once and it ran a 14.6 at 98 mph, that was with the old 3:08 open end rear with the old tires and allot of wheel spin!! this car should be capable of getting into the 13's easily now. As far as fuel millage, i average about 16 around town and it averaged 26mpg when i went down to the beach last week!, it was a 200 mile round trip and the car did excellent!! I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, and its a blast to drive!
