Yorkshire Building Society reduces mortgage rates

Yorkshire Building Society has announced a cut in the cost of its 2 year fixed rate mortgages. On Friday 1st February the new rates for House Purchase will be as follows:-

2 year fixed rate up to 75% LTV 4.89% Fee £995
2 year fixed rate up to 95% LTV 5.09% Fee £995

The maximum mortgage will be £250,000.

For mortgages over £250,000 the rates will be as follows:-

2 year fixed rate up to 75% LTV 5.09% Fee £995
2 year fixed rate up to 95% LTV 5.29% Fee £995

Re-mortgage customers can get the same low rates but will also benefit from a free valuation and free legal service.
