Bonus 60 becomes Bonus 30
21 November 2007

With effect from Wednesday 21 November 2007, Nationwide Building Society will be improving its branch-based Bonus 60 account by reducing the notice period from 60 days to 30 days. The account, which will be renamed Bonus 30, pays up to 4.90% gross p.a. if no withdrawals are made for a full calendar year.

Matthew Carter, Nationwide’s savings director, said: “This change will make our Bonus account more accessible than ever. By reducing the notice period members will have faster access to their money, giving them more flexibility in how and when they spend.”
