Nearest town is Scalea with its many restaurants and attractions. This village makes a wonderful base for walking, trekking in the Pollino National Parks, visiting many of the beautiful sites a short drive away (Tropea, Maratea etc); water sports, even skiing in Winter). Slightly cooler in the heat of summer than the coast you will rent a bright and cheery apartment where all bedding, towels etc is provided. There is an unobstructed view to the coast from the terrace - sit and observe the villages about their day whilst reading a book and sipping the local vino. Available to rent for a weekend, week or month. A car is advisable to facilitate travel and the house is located just off the main piazza with some steps to traverse so not suitable for the infirm or wheelchairs.
