On a hill in the midst of oak trees in peaceful surroundings stands this lovely house in
natural stone.
Situated in the very green heart of Umbria at an altitude of 650mt, it is 2 km from the
village of Campello Alto, 10 km from the medieval town of Spoleto and 30 km from Assisi.
This comfortable family home measures 150 sq.m and is completely furnished.
It has a spacious living-room with fireplace, two double bedrooms (one with extra bed), two bathrooms, a large kitchen with shaded terrace for outdoor dining and a hobby room with fireplace.
The house is surrounded by 1500sq.m of woodland, mostly oaks and an asphalt road leads right
up to the gate.
Ideal for those in search of tranquillity yet not too isolated. At 10 min. walking distance you find
a restaurant, at 3 km a swimming pool and shops and a stable for horse riding at 3 km.
Washing-machine, TV, barbeque and extra bed are available.
Rental rates include water, electricity, weekly change of bed-linen and towels. Gas heating is not
included in the rent and should be paid on departure.
Daily cleaning service is available on request.

Some sites to visit:
CAMPELLO ALTO at 2 km, a fortified village risen around a 10th century castle.

FONTI DEL CLITUNNO at 3 km, sacred springs whose waters form a peaceful little lake shaded
by weeping willows and poplars dedicated in antiquity to the river god Clitumno.

SPOLETO at 10 km, former capital of an important Lombard Duchy, now a town of international
culture. The famous ‘Festival of two Worlds’ is held here from 1st to 17th July with international music, theatre and dance performances.

ASSISI at 30km, city of St. Francis and St. Clare lovely medieval town with beautiful churches holding important works of art such as a series of frescoes by Giotto and Simone Martini.

PERUGIA at 40 km, of Etruscan origin now a lively university town. Its National Gallery of Umbria holds many works of art by Umbrian and Tuscan painters.
The yearly Umbria Jazz Festival is very popular among young people. It is held from 7th to 18th July.
Several other festivals are held all over Umbria during summer.
