Bed and Breakfast rooms in country house located in a small and peaceful village above the town of Gois (3.5km). Stunning views over valley and mountains from the large veranda with breakfast table and hammocks.

Very comfortable and modern, though traditionally decorated, rooms in a beautifully renovated house. 2 double rooms and 1 twin room. Guests have use of a bathroom with bath/shower, wash basin & wc; a shower-room with washbasin & wc; plus a seperate toilet. Use of the washing machine may be arranged for a small extra charge. Please note this is a non-smoking house, though smoking is allowed in the garden.

The closest bar is in a busier village further down the hill. Gois has all the amenities (shops, banks, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, weekly market, etc). The river has a cafe/bar in the summer as well as changing rooms, steps, sunbathing areas and the swimming is excellent and safe for young and old.

The nearest city is Coimbra(45km). Airports are Oporto (140km) and Lisboa (250km). For those travelling by bus the nearest stop is Arganil and the nearest train station is Vila Nova de Poiares. If necessary, it is usually possible to arrange for the owners to collect you from the airport, bus, or train station.

There are some quiet spots in the area for swimming and fishing, plus there are canoes for rent near the big rivers and a horse riding centre to enjoy the vast forest area. Liboreiro is particularly well located for access to the forest tracks and mountain tops, ideal for walking, riding or motor/mountain biking.
