Many activities can be enjoyed on the quinta. There is a river for fishing, woodland walks and clay target shooting. Horse riding is available at the neighbouring quinta.

The village with a cafe/bar is a 10 minute walk away. Oliveira do Hospital (15 minutes by car) has shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, a monthly market and a cinema.
