This 5 - year old, coupled, spacious villa with private swimming-pool, is very peacefully situated in a dead-end street in an urbanisation close to Alcudia (8km). From the roof-terrace you have partial view on the sea and you can enjoy the sunshine. On walking distance there is a small square with a few restaurants and shops, and a beautiful bay with a small sandy beach. Also on walking distance there is a pebble beach and a busstop to visit the sandy beaches of Port d'Alcudia (4km.) and Port de Pollença (5km.) . On 1,5km. distance are 2 of the most beautiful snorkling and diving locations of Mallorca. Or you can choose to swim through the clear water to a little uninhabited island! The old Alcudia (8km.) is entirely walled and has a couple of very nice shops and restaurants. It is certainly recommended to rent a car for a few days to explore the island. The beautiful Tramuntana mountains host an old cloister and some lovely hiking trails. The capital Palma is about 45km. from Alcanada and is absolutely worth a visit, for its impressive cathedral and the nice shopping streets and squares. The inland country of Mallorca is rather flat, offering a totally different landscape, so you can experience extreme variety within a few days!
