As a second home of an academic family, our one bedroom place in London is occasionally available for short term sublets, at £570 a week or £100 per night. We have just refurbished the place, and it has all amenities including broadband Internet and pretty traditional furniture. It is in a portered building with lift, has wood floors, is large (by London standards:); has bedroom, living room, hall, separate small fully equipped kitchen, and rooftop views of Notting Hill.
