Electric induction hobs are not only as fast and reactive as gas hobs but shave minutes off gas cooking times because the pan is heated, not the hob. This means they are the most energy efficient hob choice on the market, thanks to the fact that no fuel is wasted on unnecessary heating.

With attractive appearances and easy-to-clean glass surfaces there has been a recent surge in interest in induction hobs – traditionally people’s choice was influenced by fuel type, with gas being the preferred option for most.
