Job Description
Our client, a leading international construction company with projects in Europe and the Middle East are looking to recruit a Chief Accountant to be based in Qatar.

To qualify for this position you must be a member of the ICAEW, ACCA, CPA or CIMA. Previous experience in the construction industry and the Gulf Area would be an advantage.

You will be a self motivated individual, an excellent team player and interested in an international career which involves travel.

The Chief Accountant will be involved in the preparation of the annual budgets as well as being responsible for their continuous monitoring through management accounts reporting. You will be required to deal with financial institutions for the purpose of securing funded facilities for project financing and you will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts, always in line with the Group deadlines and financial policies. You will also be responsible for liaising with the Group’s external auditors for the purpose of preparing the financial statements in accordance with International Accounting standards.

Fluent knowledge of English and Greek is essential for this role.
