An international online gaming company in Gibraltar requires a Head Trader. You will be required to build and run their Direct Clients Sports book business. The role will be to lead their sports betting team and to manage both internal and externally based employees. You will work on cutting edge technologies at one of the fastest growing Internet businesses in the industry. You will be responsible for; Manage overall risk, liability and hedging. Oversee odds compilation, markets offered, and publication of content. Monitor overall position and key indicators. Manage a small, but fast growing, business and operational team. Be instrumental in the implementation of a new Sports Book. Own the P&L for the Sports book. Work with the product, marketing, content and operational teams to drive new features, marketing plan, and modifications as needed. Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to influence future business and product direction. Create and document all team procedures, train other members of staff. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a lead trading role. Have previous experience in online gaming, odds compilation, or a financial risk management company. Have background in software technology specifically Internet and/or eCommerce. Have strong analytical and team leader skills. Knowledge of financial and risk management. Be knowledgeable of the gaming industry and of European Football and knowledge of current legislation and compliance procedures. Weekend and evening work will be required.
