Job Description
Our client is searching for a Tax Manager to report to the Tax Director, with the main responsibilities below:

Maintaining a high level of contact with the business managers on day to day issues
Ensuring adequate documentation to evidence effective consideration of tax matters within the business and that controls over taxation are working effectively
Assisting in the management of the group's holding and internal finance structures, including ongoing maintenance and implementation of any relevant planning with a view to minimising cash tax payments and reducing the group's effective tax rate, while managing the risks and exposures
Evaluating and implementing relevant planning and to support on M&A transactions
Assisting in the fulfilment of all aspects of tax reporting, forecasting and provisioning processes, ensuring the integrity and correctness of all internal and external financial reporting and in the modelling of the group's tax numbers
Providing support in evaluating the impact of new and changing accounting standards
Monitoring and evaluating the impact on the group of tax developments in all the countries where the group has a material tax exposure

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Tax trained chartered accountant or similar
University graduate with 2:1 Honours level or equivalent
Some post qualified tax experience in a listed Plc or accounting firm servicing FTSE or SEC clients

Salary: 45k-75k
