Job Description
Our client established for 9 years but growing telecommunications company based close to Junction 8 of the M25 in Merstham Surrey. They are looking for a full time hands-on Accountant to join their team. As this is a new internal role within the company the right candidate will have a proactive approach, confident and assertive nature and be able to take full responsibility for the accounting function as part of the management team.

The right candidate will be a driven and ambitious qualified accountant ideally CMA and should have previous experience of preparing all aspects of accounts to completion and of preparing forecasts and budgets. The ability to work under pressure and work closely within a small dynamic team as well the confidence to challenge the status quo are essential requirements.

The role will require taking responsibility for the following areas/requirements:-

· Production of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
· Annual Budgeting and forecasting
· Assistance with Analysis of financial data where required
· Production of financial year end figures for the auditors
· Companies house annual returns.
· Day to day running of the Accountancy Function (book-keeping, billing, payroll, pensions, P11D's, VAT, etc)
· Attending management meetings and reporting on all financial aspects of the company
· Assistance with decision making on capital investments for ROI
· Management of the credit control staff and function
· Undertaking of other ad hoc projects as required as well as other financial related duties
· KPI setting, management and measurement
· Cost Reduction Exercises

Strong Excel knowledge and previous experience with Sage Accounting Software and a meticulous approach to work are essential. The right candidate will also be a good communicator and have excellent computer and written skills.
