Job Description
Gibraltar’s leading Private Bank renowned for its expertise in investment banking, private banking and asset management have an excellent opportunity for a Legal & Compliance officer to join their team.
Duties will include
Trade Surveillance
Review of new legislation, guidance notes, regulations, documentation & contracts
Implement and maintain Anti Money Laundering measures
Drafting procedures, policies, internal and external documentation
Ensure adherence to regulations and perform internal controls
Training staff on Compliance related issues
Ownership of legal cases
Maintain databases, spreadsheets and internal bank records
Preferably, applicants will have over 2 years experience within the legal, regulatory or compliance arena.
Candidates will be commercially driven, be proactive, focused and able to work independently.
This is a diverse opportunity and would suit an individual who thrives working on complicated and varied assignments, single-mindedly following through to the assignments satisfactorily conclusion.
