We are currently looking for a Senior Construction Manager for a very large touristic development in Morocco in the holiday and leisure industry. High profile role in a rapidly growing business. Only the best need to apply!

JOB TITLE

Senior Construction Manager


DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To be responsible for the on-site construction works in Morocco as part of an overall international development & construction team.

- Must be a fully qualified Architect or Engineer

- Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience

- Work experience ideally in Europe and Morocco

- Must have a wide range of technical knowledge,

- Must be assertive, organized and adaptable

- Capable of running 10 fast-track sites comprising over 1.300 villas / apartments / hotel- rooms plus associated commercial areas

- Managing a team of approx. 5 Project Managers plus administrative staff

- Responsible for all site works from groundwork to completion including :-

- Approving of ongoing construction detail drawings and/or amendments

- Liaising with technical authorities, contractors, subcontractors, masterplanners etc.

- Responsible for all on-site approvals

- Construction programme planning and management

- On-site contract & cost management

PLUS ESSENTIAL COMPUTER SKILLS

Good working knowledge of: - AutoCAD, Microsoft Word & Excel, Microsoft Project


LANGUAGES REQUIRED

Fluency in Arabic (Moroccan) and French is a must. Any other language (English and/or Spanish) is a plus.


JOB LOCATION

Successful candidate must live and work in Saïdia, Morocco for the duration of the project.


START DATE

As soon as possible


SALARY RANGE

Approx. 40.000 € - 60.000 € gross p.a. depending on experience
