Job Description
Our client is searching for an Insurance product specialist for a role that will involve responsibility for the management and development of personal lines insurance relationships (home, life, motor, travel) in the Irish market and developing these product lines for their overseas expansion.

Requirements:
• Excellent strategic awareness of the personal lines market in Ireland and abroad and commercially astute proven business acumen.
• Previous experience in the personal lines market.
• Previous experience in product strategy planning and development.
• Experience in building relationships and negotiating with underwriters.
• Strategic and operational understanding of product management and personal lines market.
• Understanding of key compliance factors.

Responsibilities:
• The individual is responsible for all personal lines insurances across Ireland and abroad.
• Drive the five year strategic roadmap for the products encompassing penetration rates and resulting commissions.
• Inform the business of key issues and trends throughout the personal lines insurance market.
• Advise the business of strategic and tactical initiatives that are required to ensure compliant and effective sales maximisation.
• Research, develop and launch new products in multiple markets in conjunction with compliance, finance and sales functions.
• Inform and recommend to the business product innovation and pricing structures.
• Manage stakeholders in establishing accurate income forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and FR regulations.
• Provide analysis of the on-going performance and profitability of the business.
• Manage allocated marketing budget.
