Job Description
One of the largest Gibraltar based insurance agency requires a claims handler to add to its busy team.
Your main focus will be Motor and General insurance claims and client relationship management.

Process and pay claims on all motor insurance up to established limits.
Where necessary investigate claims through site visits and interviews and prepare reports and other documentation on investigations.
When necessary negotiate settlements with claimants or third party insurers.
Liaise with claims adjusters, engineers and approved contractors in Gibraltar and abroad.
Enter payments into system.
Assist on non-motor claims as required.


REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally 2 to 4 years experience in the insurance industry, preferably in motor claims and/or underwriting
Computer literacy
Familiar with company products, policies, procedures, clients, and markets
Fluent in English and Spanish
Able to interact with difficult clients professionally and diplomatically.
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Basic Mathematics and report writing abilities.

Salary 19,000 – 20,000 GBP
