Job Description
Our client a rapidly growing insurance business is looking to make a first appointment at Financial Director level. This role reports to the MD and requires a qualified individual with 10 years previous insurance company experience; this could have been gained with a direct insurer, re-insurer or captive and preferably within motor insurance. The responsibilities include: - Compliance and statutory reporting for all insurance group companies - Development of financial management information - Support to the board on strategic product and territorial developments in Europe and Australasia - Liaison with all group Finance Directors and Controllers to ensure co-ordination of associated company accounts - Recruitment and development of accountancy team - Reinsurance strategy and planning -Investment programme development and delivery - Relationship management including Financial Services - Commission, bankers and Standard and Poors.

The role will be based in Gibraltar with regular travel overseas required.

Salary up to £150k & relocation & 30% bonus
