International HR Manager

Utilising your HR and leadership experience, you will work with other HR professionals around the world to maximise the impact of our fantastic workforce on tackling the causes of poverty and meeting the needs of the vulnerable.

Working within a professional, credible HR function, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the International HR division. Deputising for and providing strategic support to the Director of International HR on a diverse range of tasks associated with the adaptation and interpretation of the HR strategy, policy and procedure across the globe, you will work in partnership to continually drive the development of the International HR function’s professional competence and performance standards.

You will play a key role in establishing HR strategy with particular emphasis on resourcing, occupational health, shared services and the continued improvement of the HR function in line with the business needs. Strong influencing skills, good judgement, creative yet pragmatic business solutions combined with the energy and drive to constantly deliver high standards and develop HR competencies are essentials for the role.

Full professional qualification and/or substantial HR experience in recruitment, selection, performance management, reward, employee relations, change management, learning and development, diversity and organisational development gained within an international context are a must. Finally an understanding of the complexities of working in a multi cultural environment and an appreciation of the organisational values and goals are essential criteria for the success of the role.
