Payroll Consultant
Cheshire: £25,000-£38,000+ Ben

Our client is a leading provider pension solutions. Their Success is based not only upon the proven capabilities of their systems but also the excellent level of support their clients have come to expect.

As a result of an internal reorganistion they are recruiting for a Payroll Consultant to join their payroll team base in Cheshire. You will be working with a small team of payroll consultants and will assume responsibility for a number of clients.

Ideally you will posses the following experience and attributes:

•Direct experience of operating and controlling/reconciling a payroll system.
•Good knowledge of PAYE procedures and legislation.
•Ability to communicate confidently with all levels within a client’s organisation.
•A good level of numeracy
•Able to work as part of a team
•Able to work unsupervised and produce high quality work to demanding timescales
•Demonstrate a structure logical approach to solving queries and problems.

Work experience-desirable
•Experience of payroll system migration
•Basic knowledge of MS products-particularly WORD and EXCEL

Qualifications and education required:
•Typically an honors degree at 2:1 or higher, depending on the awarding institution.
•Minimum of 3 A-Levels at grade B or higher. GCSE to include English Language and Mathematics at grade B or Higher.
•Alternatively candidates holding an IPPM qualification will be considered.
