Have you ever sat in your local and thought how much better things could be in pub retailing? We are developing our existing pubs and building new pubs around the UK and need people who have the imagination and stamina to take a pub from a building site to opening; working with teams across the business from operations, training and recruitment to surveyors and designers.

If you want the chance to experience marketing, project management, customer research, retail sales and PR, the development executive role will give you the this grounding. That’s just for starters as with an individually tailored career path, your training will be geared towards you developing into our Area Management team.

Pathfinder Pubs is the retail division of The Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries, Plc. We own and manage 500 pubs located throughout England and Wales.

We want to meet charismatic people who can demonstrate an ability to communicate at all levels. You will be a graduate with an impressive degree, but more importantly you will be able to prove that you can use your learning to help us improve our business.

In your first or second serious job since leaving university you will be able to tell us how you have developed in your career so far and what impact you have had on your company


The Development Executive role includes:

Managing pub / bar refurbishments from a retail perspective

Creating and implementing retail promotions and activity

Measuring the financial performance of our pubs and offers

Managing customer feedback groups and delivering recommendations

Implementing innovation into our retail outlets with our operations team

What’s on offer?

A salary between 17K – 21K (dependent on experience), a company car allowance, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, Company Contributory Pension scheme and all of the other benefits offered by a large Company such as Pathfinder Pubs.
