Our client, one of the most active real estate developers with business interests in locations such as Brazil, Spain and Morocco have an opportunity for a Development Director
This high profile role with one of the leading global real estate development companies requires an individual with the ability to perform on-site design, interpret drawings and carry out field engineering work. This opportunity is ideally suited to an individual experienced as an Architect and/or Landscape Architect.
Duties and essential job functions will include:

Engineering soils composition/characteristics; construction requirements for foundation/site work/roadways

Carrying out environmental impact assessments

Conducting preliminary studies of the site (including contours, soil, ecology, buildings, roads)

Compile and analyze data on such site conditions as geographic location, soil, vegetation, and rock features, drainage; and location of structures for preparation of environmental impact report

Presenting proposals to clients, dealing with their enquiries and negotiating any amendments to proceed to final design

Accurately preparing and presenting detailed plans and working drawings, including applications, construction details and specifications for the project

Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates for land development, coordinating arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures

Overseeing the design of a variety of projects, including urban regeneration schemes, pedestrian schemes, road or retail schemes, and maintaining the character of sites of natural beauty
