Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading clothing importer for a Garment Technologist, to ensure product standards are adhered to and to meet customer satisfaction levels.

Key duties for this position will include:

§Evaluating the workmanship, quality and construction of garments

Testing of garments and trims

Approval of lab dips

Preparing and updating garment specs

Approving Pre Production and Production samples to a commercial standard

Developing care labels that meet regulation standards

You must possess good communication skills as you will be liaising with many different departments including Designers, Merchandisers and sales.

Communication with suppliers both in the UK and offshore on a daily basis is also a key part of this role

The successful applicant must be computer literate. You will be required to have a good understanding of Microsoft systems including word, Excel and Email.
