Job Description
The role will include the negotiation of commodity and service level agreements within a selected portfolio of suppliers. Monitoring, maintaining and working to improve the supplier base relating to product quality and on time delivery. Sourcing of new products and selection of new suppliers to automotive standards will be a very important aspect in developing and improving the supplier base. In addition the person will be expected to deliver year on year cost savings through robust and planned cost reduction programmes.

To apply you will be educated to degree level, ideally with a CIPS qualification and at least 5-years purchasing experience within an automotive of fast moving manufacturing background with proven track record of delivering value for money improvements through commercial management skills. You will also have excellent PC skills and a sound knowledge of MRP II.
