Manufacturing Engineer. South Wales. Up to £30k

Our South Wales based client who is in the automotive industry is looking for an innovative and communicative Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of engineers and technicians focussed on implementing a growth strategy based on core process technology of Tube Manufacturing, Hydroforming, CNC Bending and Assembly.

You will be involved with the introduction of new products and processes, researching new manufacturing technologies, liaising between manufacturing sites and working closely with the Business Development Dept, operators, team leaders and maintenance technicians.

Ideally you will be of degree level standard with manufacturing experience. Candidates who have spent time as a mechanical/welding/production engineer apprentice who have gained an HNC will also be considered.

Experience in the automotive industry, Project Management involving APQP and customer exposure would all be desirable. Strong mathematical and IT skills are essential.
