Job Description
We are currently seeking a Product Development Manager with around 5 years experience for an independent broadcast and media services company.
The job purpose is to develop, extend and facilitate the implementation of the Company product roadmaps; for existing as well as new products and ensure their appropriate integration into the company’s business markets.
The Development Manager is responsible for the technical success of Company products and services. This includes contribution to the strategy, business plan and product feature sets as required and the subsequent successful delivery of products through application of the product development process. The delivery and maintenance of the company’s product roadmaps, to include, support for product area business plans, Technical concepts and user requirements, Management of product development process, Delivery of products to market on time and to budget. Candidates must have 2 years project management experience, team leadership, technical design, video technology, basic IT systems design experience. As well as strong knowledge of MS Project, Visio / CAD, technology development processes, contract negotiations, supplier management, Microsoft office applications.
