Zurich Intermediary Group in recruitment drive
13 May 2008
Zurich is launching a recruitment drive to attract more than 30 high calibre sales and marketing staff to join its very successful Intermediary Group.
Entitled, "What if the grass really is greener?", the campaign goes live today with the launch of a dedicated microsite designed to showcase Zurich's employee proposition. This will be followed by an advertising campaign due to break mid-May.
Undaunted by the current challenging market conditions, Zurich considers the time is right for its UK Life business to ramp up recruitment of front line sales and marketing people.
Throughout 2007, the business laid the foundations for future growth with significant enhancements to their propositions, including the introduction of new factory gate priced pensions and investments products as well as launching Zurich into the mortgage and family protection market.
Zurich has also been clear about its commitment to developing the UK Life business's e-capability. As well as investing heavily in a substantially upgraded extranet for new business and online servicing, Zurich has launched a series of planning tools, including the award winning Zurich Portfolio Planning Tool, which enables financial advisers to provide their clients with genuinely independent advice, unfettered by product-provider-imposed restrictions.
Chris Gillies, Zurich Intermediary Group, Managing Director said, "We are very well placed in the market, with a reputation for great products and first class service. We have grown our market share considerably over the past six months and there has never been a more exciting time to join our organisation as we expand into new market segments. We believe that this creative recruitment campaign will touch a chord in the type of individual we want to attract to our business - men and women with an excellent track record who are looking for the next challenge and who want to be part of our success story."
