Job Description
Home Care Manager required.
Purpose of the position: Ensure the delivery of quality domiciliary care services which meet the needs of our customer and comply with the terms of the contract
Expereince Required
* Demonstrate evidence of empathising with older people
* Demonstrate working knowledge
* How to translate theory into practice
* Applying risk assessment practices
* Shows up to date knowledge of care industry
* Demonstrate effective judgements about validity of care, staffing difficulties, evidence gathering and ethics
* Supervision of staff
* Evidence of leadership styles: directive, supportive coaching, training, delegation
* Evidence in success in recruitment and selection6.2 Understanding the process
* Knowledge of equal opportunities, employment legislation
*Demonstrate knowledge of costs/commercial realism
* Ability to develop business plans and monitor against performance
* Benchmarking against competitors
