Job Description
Our client is searching for a Financial Accountant to assist Financial Controller with Gibraltar and UK reporting and for the following duties:

- Accounting and Reporting of the Gaming system (income) transactions. Analysis of income and top line expense and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
- Managing three members of staff who are responsible for the posting of the accounting entries for the payment processors and reconciling the bank accounts.
- Ensure that the cash movements for the Gaming operations via our payment processors are correctly accounted for.
- Managing the receipt of funds from Payment processors and liaise with the processors to request payments.
- Liaise with the transactions department and processors to resolve queries over missing member deposits and payouts.
- Manage the process of payments resulting from online marketing operations.
- Implement accounting and reporting procedures for new payment methods.
- Review and reconcile the payment processor account balances and cash book balances to nominal ledger balances and resolve reconciling items.
- Monthly reconciliation of the database to the payment processor movements
- Provision of information to external auditors during audit process.
- Assist the Financial Controller in the Group and Statutory reporting, represent the Finance department in internal decision groups, deputise for Financial Controller.

Technical Skills Required:

Banking and payment processing knowledge
Good command of Excel and knowledge of Access
Accounting software experience, preferably Great Plains
Effective direction and coaching of staff and delegation of responsibilities.

Salary is indicated £30k - £32k
