Due to continued growth and expansion this Gibraltar & UK based insurance company an opportunity for a Finance Director to join the team. Previous insurance industry experience in a finance director or controller role is required and applicants will be ACA qualified or similar. Insurance industry qualifications would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
• Compliance and statutory reporting for all insurance group companies
• Preparation of management accounts
• Development of strategic financial management information
• Support to the board on strategic product and territorial developments in Europe and Australasia
• Liaison with Financial Services Commission
• Liaison with all group Finance Directors and Controllers to ensure co-ordination of associated company accounts
• Development of Accountancy Team
• Reinsurance Support
• Credit Control
The role will be based in Gibraltar with regular travel overseas required.
