Direct Line launches insurance for office and surgery owners

Direct Line, one of the UK's leading personal lines insurers, has launched a new insurance product developed for office and surgery owners.

Cover includes public and products liability cover up to £2 million and standard employers’ liability cover of up to £10 million. In addition, there are several add-on options, such as cover for personal accidents and portable property away from the premises. Business Interruption cover is included as standard and there is also a free 24/7 advice line offering stress counseling and legal advice.

The office and surgery insurance policy is available via the umbrella brand 'Direct Line for Business', which is an addition to the suite of products launched last autumn.

Other products being launched this spring include cover aimed at home businesses, pubs, restaurants and small hotels.
