Citroen’s C-Cactus concept car

Citroen’s new concept car, the C-Cactus, is even less thirsty than originally thought.

New figures show that the innovative weight saving measures have been even more effective than originally stated, making the ultra environmentally-friendly vehicle able to achieve close to the landmark 100mpg.

The radical new concept which contains a drastically reduced number of components, compared to a conventional car, weighs just 1180kg, meaning that it can achieve a staggering 97.4mpg on the combined fuel consumption cycle.
