The site is located in the rural parts of northern Tshwane and adjoining the Apies River. The site
has immense appeal as a venue for leisure and tourist opportunities. Additionally there is a large
demand for conference and wedding venues in locations outside the urban footprint.
It is the intention to create a facility that optimize he features and attractions of the site for
these purposes. As 80% of the site consist of natural rocks, it is not suitable for agricultural
purposes.
This can be looked at as a considerable economic investment. The development on the site can
contributed to the provision of facilities in terms of new infrastructure and leisure facilities,
including a Mache golf course and conference facilitie which are in demand in the rural areas
surrounding the city’s urban footprint.
Future development: We are now busy constructing the membership. We decided on
three categories. Silver @ R1000.00 per year; gold @ R1250.00 per year and platinum @
R1500.00 per year. As soon as we are finished with the development of the
