Bansko

Bansko is a town in southwestern Bulgaria, located at the foothills of Pirin – the second highest mountain on the Balkan Peninsula, at an altitude of 926m above sea level. The mountain peaks near the city, the old pine woods, the numerous lakes and hot springs attract tourists throughout the year and shape Bansko as a resort for all seasons.
