This hundred year old cottage is in the wooded valley of Kamenovo village, between Kubrat and Razgrad in NE Bg. Population (once much bigger) now approximately 800 and growing, with currently three English speaking owners. Fishing lake 15 minute walk, shops, three pubs, less than 50 km to Danube. Cottage is small but in excellent condition, with three rooms and a central kitchen area (50 sqm), over an old stone cellar of same size. Lovely old beams, fanstastic valley view from bedrooms. Water, electricity, brick outhouse, barns for smaller animals and dovecotes etc. Immediate garden of house contains many fruit trees, walnut, hazelnut, but most of the 2000 sqm is a currently untended vineyard which could also be suitable for orchard. We (the owners) are currently hoping for a quick sale because our other house and land in Kamenovo is all we can handle! I am a journalist/university instructor and my husband is an independent film production manager. We will be happy to show you around between now and the end of Sept.
