Outstanding view to the lake. The village is situated in the heart of the Ludogorie.Ludogorie is an ancient Bulgarian land, overgrown with century-old oak forests, old standing witnesses of forgotten events which occurred in the former land – “Deli Orman”.The thracians have left behind hills, the Romans have built stone roads, later on inherited by the blue-eyed slavs, who remained forever at that land and later became related with the Bulgarian horsemen of Khan Asparuh. The village is located in the ravishing and lovely land, surrounded by forests, a river and dams, in the immediate vincinity of the First Bulgarian Capital – Pliska, 20 km away from the towering high up in the rocks Madara Horseman, 14 km away from the town of Novi Pazar and only an hour away from the city of Varna. If you walk on the streets of the village, you will see old houses and walls built of stones. The yards are large, planted with vegetables, vineyards, fruit trees and full of bee hives. There is no house without a well in the village, without an old oven or a stone granary. The women arrange pots of multicolored flowerson verandahs and stairs and their gardens shine from spring to late autumn.Altought the people in the village are few, they jointly work and have fun, from times immemorial, together they go through hard times and good times. This village is a small oasis amids the Ludogorie, which keeps the history of the place and anticipates the future and the new landlords of the old stone houses.
