An exceptional location between the Atlantic coast and the Paris Basin, Le Mans is located at a strategic crossroads, with the motorway network providing direct links to Rennes, Angers, Nantes and Paris, and soon ,with the A28, Tours, Rouen and Calais can be added to the list.

Le Mans is found about 80 kilometers north of Tours. To many of course, Le Mans means nothing apart from a 24 hour racing spectacle once a year. You can then descend by steep stairways that pass through the roman walls to the river below and the Roman baths, or take a few minutes to see the cathedral of St Julien.
