Location: About 1km outside of the tiny and sleepy hamlet of Aldeia Nova about 15km from Oliveira do Hospital

Vegetation and Views: This quinta is one that is being cultivated intensely. It is situated on a cleared spot at the top of the mountain but sheltered by the forests which surround it. Its exposure to the sun is optimal. There are quite a few rows of grapevines the length of the land and there is an orchard of many quality apple trees as well as some top quality chestnut trees. Also grown in the respective seasons is maize, rye, wheat and home vegetables.

Buildings : There is a little house on the land which is built of cement blocks and has 2 storeys. Upstairs is a room of 5m x 3m which now is used for storage, but evidence of one corner having been a kitchen can be seen.
On the ground level under the big room are two store rooms, together making up the same m2. Built onto the back of the house is another store room.

Water: There is a 3.5 metre well with abundant year round water as well as a big watertank from which the land is irrigated.
