This lovely modern bungalow in the quiet hamlet of Hettimulla is just two years old. It is near the tourist resort of Beruwela and situated just 1.5 miles from the beautiful beaches of south-west Sri Lanka. It is only 600 yards from the main Colombo-Galle road and very close to the local railway station. The towns of Beruwela and Aluthgama, with their full shopping facilities, are a short ride away.
With superb woodwork design, the bungalow has a large sitting room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom with WC and shower and two bedrooms, all with ceramic floor tiling, superbly designed woodwork and ceiling fans. Outside is a relaxing patio area and garden, while a high fence and gates provide security.
Other facilities include TV, video, DVD and stereo, mobile phone (at extra cost) and washing machine.
The house is owned by a British man and his Sri Lankan-born wife, whose mother lives adjacent and looks after the house. Her son does the cleaning and can also provide breakfast at an extra £2.50pp per day. Other meals can also be be provided on request or guests can cook their own in the fully equipped kitchen.
Air conditioned car transfers from and to Colombo airport are available. The car and driver are also available to rent for excursions.
Price is based on two people staying. Guests can stay for any period at any time of the year. Price for two adults and two children is $1,600.
A lower price can be negotiated for single occupancy.
