Ibiza, the party island of the Mediterranean will be closer than ever to residents of the North West as Jet2.com, the low cost airline announced today that it had launched a direct service between its Blackpool base and the ‘White Isle’.
With services starting from 3rd July 2008 and with single fares from only £48.99 including all taxes, the airline will unite the North West’s premier resort with the home of cool clubbing, fantastic beaches and bohemian living in the Mediterranean.
Initially two flights a week on Mondays and Thursdays will operate, with the airline looking to increase this frequency in the future.
Today’s announcement brings the total Jet2.com destinations served from Blackpool to eight, as the airline continues to expand its services for residents of the North West.
