Cheshire streets win flights with Jet2.com

For the past two mornings the Jet2.com team were up bright and early to wake the inhabitants of Emery Close in Stockport, and Sutton Hall Gardens in Chester, with the great news that their street and each household on it had won 2 free return flights to any of Jet2.com’s 16 destinations from Manchester.

What a way to start the day! Jet2.com’s Managing Director Ian Doubtfire and colleagues knocked on the doors of Emery Close on Monday and Sutton Hall Gardens on Tuesday to give the weary winners the good news.

From hair in rollers and hands in marigolds, the winners were all good sports as they opened their front doors to cheers, cameras and microphones, amidst a backdrop of Jet2.com bunting and balloons lining their street. Of course, most winners were surprised but grateful for the free flights and very much looking forward to using Jet2.com.

How did these streets win such a fantastic prize for all their neighbours? Someone on their street entered their address as part of a competition in the Stockport and Chester region.
