Check-in online extended to Madeira, the Azores & Spain

From December 12, with the exception of resident student/student ticket tariffs, TAP clients are now able to check-in via the Internet to and from the Madeira Islands and the Azores. This option is now also available on departures from Madrid and Barcelona.

By extending this service, TAP intends to reinforce supply to its customers, making a convenient, quick and effective means of check-in available. This is already available throughout the entire Company network with the exception of the United States, a destination subject to special departure procedures.

Passengers with a confirmed reservation on a flight operated by TAP, traveling either without baggage or just carry-on luggage can check-in online between 24 hours and 90 minutes prior to departure.

TAP passengers can check-in online via the flytap.com website and immediately print out the respective boarding card.
