Luxury spa opens in the Caribbean

13th March 2007 Print
The Caribbean’s latest luxury spa will open this month at Curtain Bluff, the luxury all-inclusive resort on Antigua. The fabulous new two-storey complex is set on the waters-edge with panoramic views over the Caribbean Sea. The 5,000 sq ft facility will have five fully-equipped luxury treatment rooms including a romantic couple’s room.

The spa will offer a full range of Pervonia treatments and massages designed exclusively for the hotel including a signature Caviar and Champagne Massage. This decadent treatment involves massage with caviar and essential oils after which champagne is poured over the body for the ultimate relaxation experience! Other treatments include an Antigua Sizzle Wrap, a Caribbean Green Coffee Wrap and Pevonia’s famous Sabai Stone Therapy.

Rob Sherman, Curtain Bluff’s Managing Director said “Curtain Bluff will now be offering the best resort spa complex on Antigua, if not the whole Caribbean. Some of the treatments are really original and combined with the many other services and activities the hotel offers will provide our guests with a truly luxurious vacation.”

Since it opened in the early 1960’s Curtain Bluff’s service and amenities have set the standard for excellence throughout the Caribbean. The resort, surrounded by vibrant tropical gardens, offers beautiful, white sand beaches, a multitude of water sports, professionally staffed tennis facility, squash courts and gym combined with top cuisine and a world class wine cellar believed to be the largest in the Caribbean

Curtain Bluff has also made the decision to stay open during the summer months in a bid to attract the UK family market, especially those with teenage children. Moody teenagers complaining they have nothing to do and are bored can dampen any family holiday but Curtain Bluff is offering a whole range of interesting activities including learning to deep sea fish, watersports and learning to play tennis with the resort’s tennis pros on any of the nine courts available. One other attraction is that growing teenagers can eat as much as they want at no extra cost as the resort is all inclusive!
