Lucas Oil on CV fuel economy drive

Anglesey-based Lucas Oil Products UK is making commercial vehicle fleet operators and owner-drivers the target for a series of promotions that will focus on the cost-saving potential of its fuel and engine oil additives.

Leaflets and posters will also be distributed to CV motor factors to support its campaign:

“We will be urging CV motor factors to re-think their stock profiles and pump out more information about the use of additives as part of a long term fuel economy programme,” says Lucas Oil managing director Les Downey.

Lucas Oil has a strong additives range for CVs. These include UCL Fuel Treatment, Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer and Bio Medic Fuel Sterilizer. The lubricants range features 5th Wheel & Slider Lube, Assembly Lube, XTRA Heavy Duty Grease, Hub Oil and 15/40 Heavy Duty Engine Oil.

15/40 Heavy Duty Engine Oil provides greater protection from solvent dilution, lower operating temperatures but allows higher oil pressure levels. This offers greater protection and cooling potential. Lucas 15/40 Heavy Duty meets all of the extended drain criteria for every major vehicle manufacturer.

A shirts and caps giveaway will also be used to help promote the brand.
