South coast developer Southcott Homes has begun work on a stunning new development in Bournemouth with demolition now underway on the scheme in Lowther Road. With demand in the town running high for one bedroom apartments, Southcott is forging ahead with work on the development where 10 new homes are set to be created close to Meyrick Park.

The Southcott Homes demolition team is now working to clear the site as potential buyers begin registering their interest in the new homes.

Becky Bennett, sales and marketing manager at Southcott Homes says she was delighted that the construction team is now on site and gearing up for construction work to start soon.

“Initial interest in the scheme has reinforced our research into high levels of demand for one bedroom properties in the town and we look forward to releasing prices and final specification details of these apartments.” she said.

The Lowther Road development is the company’s first in Dorset as Southcott expands from its Hampshire base as part of south coast expansion plans.

“Since starting the business two years ago we have built up an enviable reputation for select, high quality developments in Hampshire and we are keen to take the Southcott experience to customers wider afield.”
