Barratt's striking development in Harrow is revealed
7 August 2008

The Arc, a new development in Harrow by Barratt North London has had its vast hoarding and scaffolding removed to reveal a striking scheme offering 129 private apartments, 51 affordable homes and 4000 square feet of office space.

The impressive building in Stanley Road, along with an attractive pedestrian plaza currently being built, has transformed the former Biro factory site into a highly desirable residential address, where almost all the homes are now sold.

Glyn Hopping, managing director of Barratt North London, says: "It is always a wonderful moment when all the exterior coverings come off a new building. Years of planning, design and construction work have come together to produce the final result: much-needed stylish new homes in a superb location."

The apartments include smart kitchens with a range of integrated appliances, and open-plan kitchen/dining and living rooms that are ideal for entertaining. Many of the two bedroom apartments have en suite shower rooms. All the homes have a video entry-phone system and private parking.

The Arc's location, in an attractive area with traditional Victorian terraced homes, shops and cafés, couldn't be more convenient. A large Waitrose supermarket is less than a five-minute walk away and the Underground is around a ten-minute walk from the development.

Prices for one-bedroom apartments at The Arc start from £180,000 and two-bedroom apartments start at £225,000. For more information, log on to Barratthomes.co.uk.
