Bag a new build bargain with George Wimpey

26th May 2008 Print
Buyers at George Wimpey North Yorkshire's Thorntree Vale development in Thornaby can buy a brand new semi-detached home for a lower price than that of an average older property in the area.

The three bedroom Ryton is on the market for £124,950, whereas the average price for an older semi-detached property in Thornaby, which does not boast all of the added extras of a George Wimpey home, is £148,716*.

The Ryton has a lounge with bay windows opening onto the rear garden, kitchen with dining room and cloakroom on the ground floor, whilst the first floor has three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The home also comes with a private garden and an allocated parking space.

Jacky Prouse, sales executive at Thorntree Vale, said: "It's a common misconception that new build homes are more expensive than homes which have already been lived in. On the contrary, our Ryton's are considerably lower in price than older semi-detached properties in Thornaby and they all come with their own private garden and allocated parking, which is often not available with older properties.

"Overall it's a really great deal and I think a variety of homebuyers will find what they are looking for at Thorntree Vale."

Thorntree Vale is located on Millbank Lane in Thornaby, and caters for people on all stages on the property ladder, from first time buyers to those looking for the perfect family home.

It consists of over 300 properties, including one and two bedroom apartments, two bedroom mews homes, three bedroom terraced homes, and three and four bedroom, three storey townhouses.

Thorntree Vale is close to Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough and is only a short drive from the A19 and A66, offering commuters good access to the A1 motorway.

For more information on Thorntree Vale call into the sales information centre on Master Road which is open seven days a week, between 10am and 5.30pm.
